Details of the Training

Format and Structure:

This International Intensive Training (IIT) is a 9-day, Nonviolent Communication, "immersion experience." It is a residential workshop, facilitated by Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D., and CNVC Certified Trainers, and typically involves between 20 and 80 participants. The purpose of this IIT training is to offer the opportunity to live the process of Nonviolent Communication in community over an extended period of time, to develop and strengthen Nonviolent Communication knowledge, skills and consciousness.

To provide participants with a choice of learning opportunities IIT's typically operate in accordance with a modified version of Open Space Technology.  Each morning the topics being offered by Marshall, trainers as well as participants are announced after the remembering. For more information about the principles see http://openspaceworld.org/

An introduction to the basics of NVC will be offered during the first couple days of the event. Anyone who has not received this training is encouraged to attend.
